Description
An unaffected, lifeless planet colliding with two worlds. The one spreading life and light, bringing beautiful nature, turning rocks into plants and dust into water.
The other sphere turning everything in darkness, spreading pandemonium' s breed and crushing whole planets.
It' s the beginning.
And it' s the end.
It' s so far away.
And still so close.
Just like the big bang. And like the apocalypse.

Finally, i' ve finished my new piece. It took more then 35 hours of work as a whole. I' ve spent a lot of time on the small detail, as i love them so much. That's, in my opinion, what makes artwork so lovely at all.
100% Photoshop 7.0, using my new wacom tablet (and mouse& keyboard, of course) .
The .PSD- File is 67mb, 94 Layers at all.
I hope u like it, comments, criticism and hints what to do better next time are higly desired. Thanks in advance
(I hope i did not made to much spelling mistakes because my English sucks.)

I really like this; especially i like that the other planets also share the same two forces and also the collection of words in your poem.

I really like how much detail can go into art like these its amazing just at what you could make a world look like and i do hope you try to make more, to me this art looks as if a asteroid were going to hit the right side and send a wall of fire across half, and the left side something that will send a cold icey layer to cover the left of the planet.

I anticipate a localized drop in land value on the right side of the planet from this point of view.

Color and detail make it look like a classic collision of fire and ice. The asteroid looks very good, pretty big and scary if u ask me. Awesome work

Took the time to read the crits on this one to see if anybody else noticed the layer edges. Somebody did notice the layer edge on the top left, but nobody noticed the one running through the center of the planet or the extremely subtle one running north-south on the left of the image.
Also, nobody bothered to point out the obvious PS brush stroke just to the right of the big planet and just above the smaller planet/moon. You gotta fix this stuff man it just doesn't look very good.
P.S. I just added you to my ICQ contact list.

Those on the continent of Zomag can expect wonderful weather, huge increases in food and all around goodness.
Unfortunately for the inhabitants of the continent of Aidis, expect heavy meteor showers, flaming locusts and more exposure to Britney Spears. Did we mention lots of bad things on Aidis yet?
Looks like lots of news action on that poor world. Yeah the description was that the planet was uninhabited but it was more fun to image what the locals would go through.
Quality work.

yeah you put much work in this picture, it s really great for somebody who starts just now with space pictures. ok...some little tips.
- you can see a layer border in the upper left side.... earase it or something.... so that you cant see it.
- the light line which goes through the picture (sun-reflection) it may should be a little bit smaller and in the middle very light and on the top and the bottom darker. you can change that with the burning tool. And also it shouldnt be a straight line. i mean you should change the angle.
- and the rest is ok....keep going to improve your self. i hope i could help you a little bit.

Wow thats freaking sweet. I love how you brought the blue and reds into it. The space background looks really well done, as does the impact on the planet, the shockwave looks slick as hell. The beam of blue light is really well done too especially the flare effect when it hits. Its awesome
