Description
New wallpaper for u, i hope u like itThis started as an image manipulation with stock pic from sxc and was supposed to be an 'quick' work because i'm damn busy with university at the moment. But i was too lazy to study and finished that wallpaper during the last days, took a few hours (~10) to do.
The only thing left from stock photo is the modified sun, clouds are made by reference from stock.
No history behind this one, it's just fiction. So bad title ^^
Comments and constructive critique are very, very appreciated as usual. Thanks for watching, enjoy

I guess that would be this piece [link] - all in all including render times around 100 hours. That was kinda insane
Usually i spend around 5-20 hours on a piece

I wouldn't say that i'm that talented. I work as hard as i can to get better, i think at least 90% is about hard work- practice and experience. I use Photoshop, thank you

Absolutely radiant. The only critique I could possibly make might be the planetary bodies...some of them don't look like they blend seamlessly enough into the image, particularly the ones in front of the Sun. Being that bright, their horizons would probably be indistinguishable.

<--- stellvertretend fΓΌr all deine anderen Bilder
Schlicht und einfach der Wahnsinn (und seit gestern auch mein Desktop ^^) ...allein die 'Schwefel'wolken und all die kleinen Planeten und Monde...

Really like the piece, very nice.
Some comments, the cloud in the top right - is that meant to be planetary cloud or nebula? It looks quite different to the planetary cloud and maybe more work needs to be put into that? I dunno, im rubbish at this sort of thing myself.

Thanks for the amazing feedback and especially for the very helpfull comments/critique. I'm really newb- like in clouds- making and lightning. I will have some more thoughts about for my next works, first still learning how to create better planets.
Thanks

The clouds look way to noisy if you follow- there should flow together alot more like real clouds do. I found the colours present are either far too dodged or burnt, especially in the clouds. The lighting on the largest planet is hugely off, it needs to match the lighting of the scene around it, if its moons are hit only by the singular lightsource we can see and are therefore shadowed on the far side, then why isnt the planet right next to it? Planet texturing is coming along, the small yellow planet is really grainy and is a bit too obviously cloned. I dont think I can really see anything else so I hope that helps

Well, I love the colors and the lights, very great job for that...
But I have to say, that it's kind of too much. I think there is too much little planets around. I know it is supposed to be a Sci Fi image, but it's disturbing me, as the gaz at the top right is to.
But, it still a really good job

This is a really fantastic image. I can definately appreciate the work that has gone into it. The composition is excellent and I love the use of colour and light. I like the sort of gaseous clouds youve got here...they seem very authentic and definately add something to the piece. The planets and starfield look very realistic as as well. Overall a really great piece of art.
A serious fav and Im putting you on watch
Love
Sev
