I've watched RnC movie last week, and I felt a little...disappointed... ;-; I think it is not Ratchet and Clank movie, but Ratchet and Qwark movie T-T I really wanted to see a scene that Ratchet And Clank's fight like the thier first video game...So, this is my storyboard which is for the movie if I directed.Related content

For me, the movie was so-so. I liked some jokes and Easter eggs, but I could not see Ratchet and Clank's character development like thier original game, and it made me sad ;-;

It's not bad, but it's a little underwhelming. For me it was too short, but it's not bad by no means and I actually really liked it.

That's a relief! But still, I've read up some reviews and it's kind of dissapointing seeing so much negativity. Which is sad because there was so much potential!

Yeah I know. The negativity nearly put me off too, but I went in to the cinema with hype and wanting to enjoy it, so I guess I did. I think they could do with making a sequel, maybe not to go with the next game, but a sequel to the film would add a lot of lacking development.

Well, there was my group of four... A couple, a group of three and another 4... So about 13, all of which were very well behaved so the experience of watching the film was nice. I didn't go on opening weekend though, I went on the weekend after.

Knowing you, you'd be an awesome director! And I would've liked this scene myself! Something very similar to their argument in the first game! But remember, this is only a reimagining of the game. So even though I am a hard core R&C fan myself, I'm accepting the movie the way it is. (And I haven't seen all of it yet.)

I was expecting that the film is going to be like thier original game since they said it based on games, so I was sad that I could not see any fights within Ratchet and Clank ;-;Β

Unfortunately now D: I'm currently in Belgium, and they only play it in Dutch here! >_< But a few of my friends saw it, and they told me about the movie. It didn't sound very promising, unfortunately.

I see many fans complain that it feels like Nefarious &Β Qwark movie thanΒ Β Ratchet & Clank xD, since these two are the only ones who had character's development in the movie. But i still want to see the movie though. Just oneΒ question, does RatchetΒ actually use different weapons when fighting qwark or was that just in the ps4 game?

I haven't watched the movie yet (when you know that it apparently came out first in our country, but the guys who translated into French translated however they wanted and created their own lame jokes... ) but yes, I think that a scene like this would be cool to see. ^^

I would love to have seen this in the movie, Ratchet seemed a little bit too nice in the actual thing. I really wanted to see Ratchet and Clank have more moments where it was them talking, and disagreeing with things like they did in the games.

I love that storyboard! I was hoping for something similar like that in the movie but Ratchet is just too damn nice all the time. Heck he barely had much of a reaction when Qwark betrayed the Rangers. In the original, he went after Qwark for what he did to him. It would have actually been good to see him as a jerk at first and then develop into a mature, level headed person but he just barely had any character development in this and he only expressed happiness and sadness. What happened to all the growling Ratchet used to do, plus how is he not suspicious of Qwark's actions? It's like his character was watered down.Β

Omg, yes. Way, way to nice. (Even though I haven't seen the movie, there hasn't been one movie clip where they were disagreeing, or where Ratchet had any emotion other than happiness or being excited, or confused, or nervous.) I think it has to do with being more suited around kids because the animation and characters were so appealing they just made it more of a kid movie. I only watch kids animated movies, and I'm proud to say that. I love them. But anyway, I was happy they didn't make it an adult film. Plus, the games are E-10+, so it should be more suited for a 10 year old audience. If Ratchet growled just once in the movie, and they made him change from being all nasty to nice, then it would be better, like in the old game. I think that since they casted Ratchet, he just couldn't be rude to his best pal or growl at him. And he already saw the events he should have reacted to coming. Maybe.y optimistic fan theory.
