In Barlowe's Book, Finned Snappers are predatory creatures native to Darwin IV, they hunt Small flying creatures such as jetdarters with a dexterous head-arm.thing. They are very fragile and light; the grille-like front is an air intake which allows the creaure to lift it's rear fin when it runs.

I made a few tricks with this pic so that the posterior fin appears to float; Although I'm happy with the original photo, I wanted to take another with a white background because I'm THAT Obsessive-Compulsive. Yeah, deal with it.
