Wow, this is stunning! Especially fantastic work on the shading, but IMO everything's practically perfect. I love the shape of her eyes, in particular, and the way you've depicted her pensiveness. Fantastic work!

Marvelous shading. the hair could use some blending to make it more natural. it looks blocky as is the darkening lines in the hair are noticeable. work on that and it would be perfection.

Seriously, this is the only picture I've ever seen of Melian where I have thought, YES, this is how she looks.
It's lovely. The shading is beautiful and I love the little Robin, just perching on the edge of her hand.

D'oh of course it is, total fail on my part/signature bird and all that. We have robins in our garden at the moment, I think I am a little obsessed. Mind you we had a Mistle Thrush last week and ... I'm getting bird geeky sorry

Oh how lovely. I like to sit in the early mornings and listen to bird chatter and laugh at the antics, yeah I know thats a bit geeky but its nice.
