Looks a lot like the weapon of the Keeper Enforcer assassins in Thief: Deadly Shadows.
But that design in the game was ruined by it being wielded by a badly designed ridiculous enemy.

Yeah, they appear late in the game. But they're horrible. Instead of being stealthy assassins that can kill you without you ever noticing, they're the loudest, most unsubtle things in the game. They talk using telepathy that you can hear, and their voices are pitched up and distorted, so they sound ridiculous. And they casually walk around the streets and kill everything on sight. They're the enemies that should have just been scrapped from the game altogether.
So by all means, use the crescent moon blade design. The assassins in T-DS don't deserve to be associated with it.
