Thank you so much!! Right now I'm using 4H and 2H pencils for the super light areas, and an F pencil for the few areas I've started darkening in (mostly in the upper torso and around the face). With coloring and painting I usually all digital, but for the drawing I really like the control traditional pencil gives :]

Awesome =] I've been struggling to do lineart/sketches in digital, but by the sounds of things most people start in pencil, scan it and then colour with digital - I'm happy it's not just me ^^ Beautiful work I hope to see more =]

Yeppp drawing using digital hardware is really hard for me, unless it's a cintiq but I don't have anywhere close to enough money to afford my own loll. Some of my friends are able to draw like wizards on an intuos and I'm just like =3=;;; And other friends won't even touch a tablet and they make beautiful traditional watercolor pieces :]

For a while I felt anxious about my process because it didn't match up with what other people were doing, but now I've realized that it's most important to find what works best for you x] Plus it'll probably change in a few years b/c of your increase in skill/technology haha. I'm really glad you like my work, by the way~! <3 <3 And sorry if this is long winded lol, process always seemed like a tricky thing to me xD

Ohh I see, I haven't had the chance to try high end tablets, but my process is likely changing due to getting a cheap one recently. I don't mind long winded as its something I'm interested in right now, I suppose I'm trying to figure out everyones process to see if mine is right I guess its a tricky subject as its so personal, everyone does something a bit more their own way and you're welcome, I'm glad you like my work also =] I'm aspiring to draw people as well as you can at the moment, did you study how to draw people or just pick it up? Sorry for all the questions XD

Aww thank you~!! Drawing characters is a challenge xD Drawing in general is p hard and anyone that's like "nuh-uh no it's not" is a big fat liarrr or an alien ^o^;;;  In my experience process tends to be what works the best with your strengths as well as your weaknesses. Like, I'm suuuper light handed so I have to rely on a set of pencils that go from hard to soft so I can draw lightly and still get dark lines ^.^; Also I can't draw digitally on an intuos so I have to learn how to make clean pencil scans. And on and on lol

For drawing people, it's a lot of practice. The website pixelovely is really helpful for getting faster at drawing the human form from models. Also the book 'Figure Drawing: Design and Invention' by Michael Hampton is super super helpful~!

That really does help thank you =] I suppose I will figure out my process by doing, diving in and feeling my way to what's best
I love pixelovely, that's the one that also has expressions, hands and feet and animals as well isn't it? I've been trying to draw from there every day to get lots of practise in. I've not heard of that book so I'll give it a look if I can find it in the uk ^^ Thank you so much for your help <3
