I think so. it's basicly the layer clipping. but just on one layer instead being able to put more layers over the original.

FINALY.. something that gives good examples...ty my good friend dubrider33 has tried to teach me how to draw eyes for some of the anime fans at our school who have asked me to draw them stuff but he isnt that good of a teacher...but anyways ty for the examples this should help alot.

if you don't mind my asking, what do you use to blend the colors? like water, blur, or brush and what destiny do you use, because when i try it rarely ever blend nicely

My god Aisha. MY EFFING GOD THOSE ARE AWESOME. Actually, to correct myself there. Your entire style is, i mean, there aren't many 16 year olds who could draw anything like that. And thank you so much for the amazing tutorial, I can finally try to learn how to draw eyes that aren't all kawaii desu chan (and fail suckishly at it). I bet you get tons of repetitive comments like this...but I have to say that you should make another tutorial, seriously, THEY HELP SO MUCH.

I would love to know what tools you used and what were the settings when you use them.
Did you used the blur tool for ...blurring? or did you used the watercolor tool? or airbrush? orz
