Before I say anything, I just want to say sorry DD: All I've been uploading lately are stupid little Black and White sketch dumps. I've just been in such a terrible art rut lately. Not the "I can't draw anything" type, because I'm drawing my ass off, but the "Oh my god what the hell is this my style is poo I can't finish any of these drawings" type -- I legitimately haven't been able to finish anything without rage quitting OTL Ive been trying everything from self portraits to backgrounds to old school disney-styled characters, but just. JSHDSKJ. And a bigger sorry to my commissioners for having to wait so long -- I've tried to do so many of them so many times, but it's not coming out like how I want DD: I promise I'll have them all done by the end of summer, at the very very latest.

ANYWAYS! xD I love doodling Chester Lloyd and his friends. I still don't want to give out too much information until the characters are ~completely~ developed, but I figure I'd upload this [also because i haven't uploaded anything in EVER.]

Pic 1: Clarice: *yawns groggily and enters the room* What...Ches, you're still here? Shouldn't you have gone back to your headstone by now?

Chester: *with his eyes still glued to the text* Ha! I can't even think about resting right now! Did you know that a cow's stomach is split into four parts?

Clarice: *leans over*....are you reading my old biology book?

Chester: *turns with a grin* It's fascinating!

Chester is pretty uneducated -- let's just leave it at that :,D and he likes bumming at Clarice's house. a lot. and dragging her on his "quests"....Navi is to Link as Chester is to Clarice.

Pic 2: When Chester first met the "Bayou Bete Noire", a powerful swamp lurking devil, he thought he was a homeless guy trying to rob graves.

Pic 3: Missy's a tsundere little talking cat. Chester loves her to death, and she haaates being hugged. She says the only reason she sticks around him is because he gives her scraps of people-food, and seeing as how she was once human herself before she pissed of the Bayou Bete Noire, she finds it degrading and disgusting to eat cat food.

lol i didnt feel like drawing the Imps of the Southern hospitality Twins....

and yes, even though he's a ghost, he';s able to control his "transparency", if you will. at 50% and below he's able to walk through walls and stuff like that. at 100% fully visable, he acts like a solid mass, being able to pick up objects and such, and have people not fall through him if they try to, say, put a hand on his shoulder.

Random interesting facts -- they all have wicked deep south accents, except for Chester and Clarice -- Clarice is originally from Connecticut, and Chester grew up in Georgia [so it's not so bad of an accent] All other characters connected to them pretty much were born and raised in Mississippi or Louisiana. Also, this story line takes place in the same alternate universe as Black Jack and BJBB.

OTL I always make my descriptions way too long...whatever, it'll all make better sense when I get his ref sheet out xD;
