Nice! He looks so handsome yet so dangerous. **grins** I am liking TFP Soundwave more and more. I like that you kept the dimensions of his face within the confines of what we actually see in the show, more realistic to be tucked away behind his mask. He does not look happy though, poor mech. Makes me want to hug him; he looks so sad and rather a bit tormented.
I actually had a theory on why he would hide his face behind a mask like he does: Being a fighter in the gladiator pits of Kaon's underground (see Exodus novel; WfC and TFP are supposed to be the same continuity according to writers and Hasbro), his early fighting career was likely not without its errors in judgment. And while the rest of his chassis would reconfigure for each new alt mode he scanned and erase most scars, the face/head would not change (which seems to be a constant through most of the continuities). What if in an early (his first?) fight someone managed to claw his face so badly that he was effectively mutilated? In the fic I started, the entire left side of his face and much of his forehead are deeply torn by 4 parallel jagged scars from right temple to left optic to lower jaw (left).

I don't think, that it's a big problem for transformer to change a whole face plate. They are robots after all, not humans

I love it actually, I find it hard not to love the things you post.
The way you colour and even just the way your lines come together is just amazing, and you seem to have the hang of the pointyness and complexness of TFP.
I just love it....
