I like to think that he has a visor on. I don't mind the thought that he doesn't have a face at all but with how his face looks like Decepticon logo...And the logo has eyes I can imagine that if the logo was made from his face then it implies that he does have eyes under that glass.Β

If you read the comic he does have a face . this is pretty good though.

I think he does have a face, but the only one with the privilage to see it is Megatron, and maybe Shockwave

Knockout may have seen it too, as Megatron ordered him to get Soundwave a new visor when it was shattered in the show and KO is the Decepticon medic.

I really love your style. You know there's a comic book where Soundwave is actually depicted without his mask and you get a clear shot of his face (he doesn't look too bad but doesn't look all that *hot*, either).
Also, in the episode "Triage" when he falls to the canyon floor, for a second you can see through his mask. It seriously looks like he has a face (what looks like purple eyes and all); I'm serious. It's like he's wearing some sort of translucent mask that is see thru at certain angles of light; etc. It could just be me, but it looks like his face.
I also remember reading a while back on boards (before Prime debuted) one of the producers of the show stated that Soundwave has a face but just hides it. There were/still are rumors that in the next season he's shown without his mask but these could just be rumors.....
Anyway, I love the work you did. The comic I saw depicted him rather ugly. At least you made him handsome!

Awesome! And he most likely does have a face, since he wears a visor where his face should be. I researched Soundwave and he used to actually talk, back on Cybertron not much but stll.

I swear there HAS to be an episode where the Transformers start to wonder about what is underneath Soundwave's visor, I remember in Triage that Wheeljack cracked it, I'm sure Soundwave wants to beat the cr@p outta Jackie. I still wish he completely broke it... That would be cool.
