...I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PAINTING *_* Like you said, melancholic, but still I get the feel of serenity as well. I like your usage of shades very much, it's surprising to see how much more depth you can get into a painting just by mixing different shades of the same base color. Not using too many different colors brings that out too, of course
