Description
The art theft case I'm talking about is not related to DA. I post this becase I want to remind our anti-theft fellows that when you find a "source" via reverse search sites like tineye or saucenao, be sure to confirm that it's indeed the original, not another art thief. The user I'm talking about is [link] an art thief on Pixiv. She has four different styles in her gallery, and I recognize most of the arts there. If you seach the arts with [link] you'll only get results linking to her gallery. But that does NOT mean she is the original artist.
The pictures I circled with red are done by a famous fan artist. I don't know her name but in China we call her "δΈη". She draws Prince of Tennis, Hunter X Hunter fanarts and a few others. Her old site's name is "littleportion" and the url used to be "[link] ". Her site is already down so I don't know how to find her or the original links.
The one I circled with blue is from a Fuji X Ryoma fansite. Original site: [link]
Stolen: [link]
Original: [link]

Thanks for the advise. I've been trying to get a thiefs stolen art removed from DA for a few months now, but I can't find the originals online although they're official Ninja Gaiden 2 art, and TineEye didn't work in my favour.

I understand that and have experience too. Years ago I tried to find a Utakata poster which can be seen in every anime magazine, but I can't find that pic online. I still didn't find it.

I take it in your case the stolen art didn't get removed either?

Oh, it's not a stolen art. I just want to find a picture I like but it's no where on the internet.
But yes, I've met a few cases in which stolen arts don't get removed though many users reported them.

Oh sorry, I misunderstood your sentence. My bad.
And that's really crappy on DA's part. You;d think after well over a dozen reports DA would think "Hmmm...it's official art and x number of people reported this. We need to check this ourselves and remove this."

In my case it's not official art but a fanart from Pixiv. But it's the same thing. Sometimes DA just does nothing.

Yes. And some Japanese users steal arts too. I've seen some on both DA and Pixiv.

Yes, I've met those too. Some people are using language barrier. But I know Chinese and Japanese, so those cannot fool me.
