100DoA, 18/100: Stylisation tutorial by Sam Yang (SamDoesArts )
I’ve always wanted to be able to draw people and scenes in a style of my own, so that’s something I’m studying a lot recently! Today I followed along with one of Sam’s tutorials from his Patreon/Gumroad regarding how he stylises his paintings. A lot of what he does really resonates with me, so I followed along with his two examples (T1 and T2), then turned it off and chose a reference of my own to practice with. I’m liking the improvements I see, though there is still a long way to go before I’m satisfied!
