It's bad enough to get punched by a werewolf but a werewolf with a flaming fist? It would be a two hit fight. He hits you and you hit the ground.

Yep, Joshua did. But I dunno if I could call him an ordinary guy. It's true he was a normal human but he is an ex-marine and an ex-firefighter. He was already a hero in the making. I'm updating his bio so that he is Ashley's father (Dan might have to work around that, with dad's and daughters and all).
Well I don't think a 5'9" ordinary human stand much of a chance against a 7'0" werewolf.

Depends what "ordinary human" means... the aformentioned Shingo has no powers whatsoever (save for his earned strenght, perhaps) but he survived a beatdown from Orochi Iori (which pretty much acts like a feral beast and shoots purple flames as well)

Probably not as spectacular as actually shooting out flames, but a defiant 10 on the shock and awe scale. I'd hate to be the guy on the receiving end.
