lol i love playing zelda. im not that good at her yet but its just so satisfying landing that kick. i made this "wide-screen" bcos im pretty keen on buying a widescreen tv just for smash lol.. maybe...
ps -zelda is kicking samus in the stomach.. theres just half a boob in the way XD.

Yeah I'm a big fan of Metroid also. The whole think about adding new stuff to the characters is fine with me. The Metroid part of SSB kind of needed an upgrade. There's like only one item from Metroid, only one character from Metroid... There just needed to be more added to it.
Adding ZSS probably helped clarify that Samus is a GIRL.

lol yeah i think im over that whole thing now, and i actuali want to try her out lol. tho it still does bug me that 'screw attack' is an item.. way to steal samus' up-b and give it to everyone? how would pikachu and link like it if 'quick attack' or 'spin attack' became items!? they wouldnt! Again with the whole "there needs to be more of Metroid" even though it doesn't fit. =_= Can you even think of any Metroid items that other characters can use? Many of the items in Metroid can only be used by Samus. But yeah, I know what you mean. It's strange, but we live with it.

well i dont think 'not enough metroid' is a good enough reson to hand out her best upgrade as an item! yoshi has crap all representation in items but noone seems to mind. maybe "energy tank could replace max tomato (haha lyk sakurai would let that happen, one day smash wil be called 'kirby and friends fightorama!'
i agree tho, theres not enough metroid but a better way would be a better metroid stage (with no lava!) space pirate AT or ridley as a PC (one day)

... RIDLEY AS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER! I don't think that could work. Ridley's like THREE times the size of Samus. =_= This is why it's a boss.
But... I'd say Dark Samus would fit as a playable character. It's a suitable size, but the moves might be different from Samus's. I haven't gotten to the fight with Dark Samus on MP3 so I don't know what it can do beside that it could multiply. 8D
Ha, lava. That has always been an obstacle in the Metroid games. Well at least now we have that Frigate *forgot the name* stage in Brawl.

I've only been playing Melee for a few months and I can use Zelda pretty fairly. I can hold my own a little longer when playing against my other friends. lol...

haha bro. by the time brawl is out, my zelda skills will be honed and i will whoup you to bitter death, down-b shiek or no down-b shiek. and we can chill abt c. falcon, his logo is confirmed and hes probly just unlockable still and they wont announce unlockables till after release. same goes with falco G&W etc... and ness (if he hasnt been replaced by lucas). and i recon black shadow from F-zero mite show his face as playable (being on the jpanese poll of most wanted characters and all!) yeah brawl. so many minutes till PAL release tho T_T

Doubt you will be seeing me online though. No flat and all... Perhaps Ro might get the Wii for the year during 2008. It's why I'm making preparations to learn every minor detail about RO2 and Aion. One of them will be my pic next year, and with a hopefully upgraded comp money for Brawl may not arrive till late 08 or 09 
Oh and I've already honed my Zelda skills without sheik, kickin' tons of ass with well placed kicks to the noes for maximum effect. And thats some great news about unlockables (same amount as playable I assume as they "wanted" 40 something characters)
