WHEW! I started this around 12 a.m. now it's 5. I refused to stay away from this. o_0This is my first manip of this sort, I was lurking dA, and I saw manips like this and I was like "how COOL!" I had to try it myself. Thus, an unoriginal manip was borne. ;] I would very much appreciate feedback, and constructive criticism.
My self-critique is that my selecting is a bit choppy. Hence the reason I softened it big-time. x] And I need to work on shadows and making other images fit and blend more.

That's actually pretty good. The dress seems to need a bit more shadow to it to accentuate where the light is actually coming from, but other than that, I see no fault with it.

Awesome, Aja! I wouldn't change a thing- really! The lighting is focused on the parts you want to bring out, giving it even a more mystical feel- a connection between the girl and the fairy- the shadows being darker and more blurred all around help lend to the mystery. Nice work!

I am reeeeeally not good at writing comments or giving criticism but this looks amazing
The only thing I'd work on is either getting the pieces of stock you use to share the same light source, or manipulate the image and direct it to one light source or add others. It just makes the image more believable =]
