The voice inside my head thing is from Lazarus by Porcupine Tree, listen to it on radio blog or whatever, it's a real good song...
I'm really not that happy with this, so I'm probably going to delete it (and my tutorial) and redo the tutorial the same but with a better result. On the bright side that does mean that I'll do ONE more thing like this, but better
