Description
This drawing has been completed with the help of Tony Orzech ( [link] ) wich I thank for the great amount of time he invested in helping me with the shading and texturing and Kylee Nell ( [link] ) wich I thank for her asistance with the anatomy... Thanks guys... I never could have done without you...As for the story... Jon ( the elf ) just finished some really tough survival exercices as he is in training for admition in the elven guild of the riders... and Draghi ( the dragon ) just returned from a sucesfull but exhausting hunt...
So they bolth seattle down for a little rest... that's all there is to it...
Heck... I would like a pillow like that...

You're deffinatley improving! I would just say the dragon's right rear leg looks a little odd to me. I dunno if it is the perspective or what, but it looks great otherwise!

Wow... This is really stunning work! I love all the details in the background, the leaves and the sunbeams. The rendering on the dragon is excellent and so are the textures.
As for crit, I would say to make variation in the length of his toes would be a good idea. It looks kinda awkward with them being all the same. The tail seems to long compared to the neck (I generally try to make neck & tail preportional), but that could be a matter of taste. And one little thing, the branches and the outline of some of the leave bunches look rough.
But, all & all, it's a fantastic image! I can't understand why you asked crit from me, you're about a gajillion times better. XD Ah, but you can always improve. : D Great work!

thanks... I agree that the tail is too long.. .I usually make the tail longer... but here I did it biger to fit the composition better... I generally keep my dragons with shorter necks... but still longer then the length of their heads...
Hmm... never really thought about toes needing to be of different sizes... oh well...

thanks for stoping by... and I have already visited your page... but honestly... I wouldn't know what to say... cartoonish art isn't really my ting... I strive for realism... and to go as far away from cartoonish/magna/manga look... because at first... my drawings werel iuke that as well...
But by all means... keep working and practising... and you will get there... were ever "there" is...

Oh my God, this is gorgeous! I am so happy you finished it and it was well worth the effort and the wait! I am so proud of your progress.
And just a little crit (because I know you love it), the leafy textures on the ground are exactly the same as it leads off towards the bushes, and the perspective is interferred with because they dont really recede into the background. A change in leaf size (eg, the leaves getting smaller as they go further away) might have helped. And maybe a little more interaction between the leaves and the dragon, or even a break in the pattern to show the ground beneath.
But don't let the crit detract away from the overall beauty of the pic. Your lighting and shading skills have really grown in this pic, and I would call this "experiment" a great success. And I see you managed to take care of that wing!
