Description
A while back... actually a LOOONG while back... Marvel and DC released what they call the amalgam universe. A universe where some of their characters merged into one. They mix Superman and Captain America (supposedly the most OP superhero - but had a very cool story that make him not that OP), Darkseid and Thanos (Very cool if done right), Green Lantern and Iron Man and etc. And they even made some rather weird ones (in my opinion anyway): batman mixed with Wolverine, joker with Sabretooth, Mandarin and Sinestro...
Anyway... it was a one time fling. They've have yet to do anything of sort since.
But with the recent resrugence of DC and Marvel movie verse... I looked at the characters and notice several points of similarity and well... Let me try my spin.
So here it is. The Big Trinity of the Amalgam Universe:
Superman x Captain America: The Super Soldier
Real name Steve Kent, rejected by the army for poor physique, but selected by Dr. Erskine (secretly an Alien Scientist from Krypton) to be transformed into a Alien Hybrid Super Human to fight in the World War 2 era against Nazi - who secretly under the control and backing of Krypton Military Leader turned megalomaniacal traitor Zod Smichdt AKA Krypt Skull. The serum allowed him to absorb energy from Earth's brighter and younger yellow sun, strengthening his muscles, reflexes and senses to super human level... but the power can grow too much until it was too hard to control, hence the special Kryptonian chest plate to help him regulate said powers.
AN: The second i finished, and dead easy as far as lore and design concerned. Maybe because i like the original Amalagam character - so i keep the name too. In the original design the Super Soldier carries a shield... here... I removed the shield because... seriously, does he even need that? He's Superman... with Captain America skills and combat training. Even Batman will think twice three times before he even think of tackling this.
Batman x Iron Man : The Black Knight
Real Name Bruce Stark, a prodigal genius who helped his father design weapon design since he was 10... until one day, during a family trip/field inspection he witnessed his parents were killed by a weapon he had designed. With he himself injured and reuqiring a special device to keep him alive, Bruce was rescued by the League of Ten Shadows, who then trained the boy to become their greatest champion against evil. But when he finds out the League true genocidal goals, Bruce escaped from the order wearing a suit of armor of his own design. Once he returned home, he perfected his design and to begin his crusade against evil in his own way.
AN: The first to be finished and the one that start it all. Honestly, i'm suprised this merger hadn't happened yet. The two had so~o much similairty: filthy rich, genius, own their own tech company, basically normal human who gain super powers from its suit filled with high tech equipment... and both had billionaire playboy persona... except Bruce Wayne was just faking it while Tony Stark... not so much. But Iron Man arsenal with Batman's investigative techniques and plethora of martial skills... it would absolutely tear Captain America apart in Civil War. Any rate... I imagine his mission would be somewhat similar to Batman (no kill policy, fight crime) but at a much more global scale: like stopping war crime, human rights violation, or inhumane industrial practice from an immoral mega company or something like that.
and lastly:
Wonder Woman and Thor : Beatrix
Beatrix was a super weapon created by the Angels during the great war between Heaven and Hell by combining the best from both worlds. Such was the power she wielded, she literally ended the war almost single handedly. Alas, owing to her unnatural origin, she lacked the empathy and compassion to other lesser and weaker beings she was meant to protect. Left alone, she had the potential to destroy everything, becoming even worse danger than the demons. Thusly, her Father, Archangel Michael, cast her down to the world of men, and shattered her sword into two pieces: the Inferno Blade - Dante and the Paradiso Cross - Vergil. As a safeguard, Michael also cast a seal upon these two weapons that only the worthy may wield the power Beatrix. In so doing, her memory as Beatrix was also shattered, and she assumed the identity of a mortal Diana Blake... a doctor serving in World War 1. The hardshp she saw there awoken her compassion, and when she recover half of her weapon, the Paradiso Cross, she prove herself worthy to regain a part of her power as Beatrix. But with the resurgence of demons in this great war, she'll need all her power back... a prospect that she, with her newfound humanity, dread. For if the two weapons are to be rejoined... she may yet return back into the heartless super weapon she was.
AN: Hands down: the HARDEST of the trinity to create. The first attempt was a Wonder Woman in Thor armor carrying a hammer and a sword... the result was so disastrous I had to stop for months to think it through. Ultimately I had to take in a LOT of liberties in this one. Greek and Scandinavian mythology can't be mixed so easily... so i had to take a middle ground and use Angelic Mythology as a bedrock to establish the lore... which combines both Thor and Wonder Woman origin story. The name Beatrix i took from Dante's Inferno. And I kinda like the end result... but the elements of Thor and Wonder Woman may not be so easily discernable anymore... soo~oo
What's next?
Green Lantern and Nova Corp?
Shazam and Captain Marvel?
Spiderman and Robin?

Top notch when it comes to amalgam fan fiction. Most would just point bits and pieces take make a combined character but you did a full on fusion. They look like they could star in there very own comic. My personal favorite is Beatrix... While giving her a Angelic origin is a bit of a stretch (Thor & Wonder Woman coming from Greek & Norse) I do understand why and she looks great.
P.s. I would like to see (just a subjection)
Spider-Man + Static
Wolverine + Jonah Hex
She-Hulk + Fairch

Those are some intense designs, and impressive ways of combining both, especially with a pretty original take on combining Thor and Wonder Woman.

I'd say you did a great job on this, art wise and story wise.
