Description
There is a little story behind.Sometimes it's hard to recognize what is good and what is evil. Little girl lost her way in the marshes and suddenly she was found by a creature living here for ages. Who know how this ends up? She may be eaten, or disappear in mud while running away - or with her innocent courage she makes friendship with her finder - and then, maybe, people come, searching for that lost poor one and along with finding her, they destroy this untouched nature, homeland of many living myths..

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.. today when I looked at it, I've suddenly seen that the story might also be a metaphor for ending of a childhood (but no more words in the description, picture should speak for itself

i understand what you said in the forum contest, i think exactly the same... sometimes i work on one piece for weeks and you see some anime stuff with millions of faves and comments, and sometimes are crapy stuff... i don't get it!
i submitted mine a week ago, 200 + layers lots of hours, nobody seems to notice the amount of effort on it, and i guess nobody even checked the link to the original photo to see how changed it is now... well i gues that's the way it is... or perhaps i just suck at it jajajajajaj who knows!!

what we talked about in the contest forum reminds me of something that happened to me in my beginings with digital painting - I made a sketch of a figure with flowers, put it in the gallery as lineart (I thought it was the right category) and then I suddenly got some favs even if the picture wasn't so good - and then I realized it was mainly manga category and my picture might be considered as a lineart of this genre.. hmm it should be funny experiment to put something really off topic here, just to see what loads of people visit these categories
anyway, I checked also your picture and I have to admit I was one of those people who don't check reference photos every time, so when I now compared those changes you made.. good work

what you say is right, i guess most of the people here are kids anime fans.
thanks for checking mine... actually i like it, but no one has commented not even once, and i've seen others really bad and has lots of comment and favourites, perhaps that's what most of the deviants wants to see.
