Description
They were 2 of these floating around that clearing I was in that day. Got all kinds of shots that weren't bad from preening, scratching it's beak, tongue way out, and even a few flying and hovering.

I missed my best chance for a sunlit flying shot at maybe 5 or so feet! When I was ready for it, it did return but unfortunately the sun had been obscured by clouds and basically negated a shutter speed fast enough to freeze it's wings.

That clearing only gets sunlight for about 3-4hrs a day, hoping they are still sticking around for another chance on a sunny day sometime soon.
