Ahh, the BBC's "Merlin", my guilty pleasure!

I had started watching last year but then given up after 6 episodes because they had left me red-faced and dizzy... from face-palming and eye-rolling about the really bad (silly, repetitive, predictable and full of plotholes) stories >_<;

Then DW went on hiatus for the summer and I had nothing nice and British to watch, so I decided to give it another chance... and somehow, it really grew on me. Mostly because the characters (and actors!) are so damn adorable!

Anyway, meme comments:

1) Arthur and Merlin make it all worthwhile XD

2) The most adorkable person ever and an arrogant prat with a heart of gold, how could you not love them?

3) ...though I don't hate him because how could I, he's Giles Anthony Head.

4) Just kidding! XDD The story was terribly silly, but I found it deeply hilarious that Uther only got to sleep with his lovely new wife when she had been exposed (to everyone else) as a troll

5) I think I might have liked Arthur/Merlin if all the ho yay fanservice wasn't so blatantly obvious while not leading anywhere, because the Beeb wouldn't dare anger its conservative viewers. But they know that "Slash sells" so they put it in just to keep the fangirls watching. That's hypocrisy and I resent that. ò_ó

6) Finally, no giant rats or pink pixies, but a human foe who was dangerous and creepy, and the plot was serious and sinister and had some fantastic character moments. Also, Lord Vetinari Lord Tywin Charles Dance!! <333

EDIT: By now, my favourite episode is "The Wicked Day" because it was just so good!!

7) Nimueh was quite annoying too, and Mordred is so creepy .__.

8) I'm one of those girls who loved horses and mucking out stables when they were little. =3

9) Another thing I find deeply hilarious - all the random scenes featuring shirtless Bradley James. I'm not complaining at all, I enjoy shirtless Bradley James like the next girl - it's just so really obvious they're catering to the fangirls XDD
