This is a really old picture actually, drawn after the 7th book came out three years ago (my God, has it really been three years already?! O_O)But as the HD movie gave me another HP kick revival (like every other HP movie before) and since I realised I hadn't uploaded it on dA yet - here it is!
(please ignore all the anatomy mistakes and stuff >_<; )
Yes, that's how I imagined the Carrows three years ago, apparently
And the DA members you see in the background are -on the left side- Parvati, Lavender and Seamus as well as -on the right side- Michael, Anthony, Terry, Padma, Hannah, Ernie, and Susan.
I'd really really love to see a lot more of Neville and the DA in the second DH movie, but I'm not getting my hopes up to high... hopefully at least the snake scene will be awesome!!
Anyway, looking forward to Potter 7.2~

Nah, I think it was supposed to be a Death Eater mask (they had these kinds of decorative patterns in the ...5th movie if I remember correctly?)

Conpared to the book, definitely a bit meh, but overall ok.
If you care for the Ron/Hermione pairing like I do, you might get really angry, though ;__; And they also totally messed up Grindelwald *sighs*
It's still very much worth watching, I'd say

yeah well since when have movie adaptions done justice to books eh? (although i hope theyre cut out some of the tedium of harry hermione and ron's woody blunderings). As for the pairings ive never been that interested but i saw the clip i think your reffering to on some news-shoe - WRONG! it seems like the producers stuck in a harry/hermie subtext in there just to please the harmonians. As for grindie well i'll just have to see when i finally get my sticky hands on a ticket.

Wieder so ein Detailfeuerwerk-Geduldsproben-Fanart von dir. Ich bewundere immer wieder wie du die Geduld für so viele Details und so saubere Schraffuren/Colorationen aufbringen kannst. Bei mir würd so ein Bild ziemlich schnell in die Ecke fliegen. *neid*
Schaut echt toll aus. *__* (Inhaltlich kapier ich's leider nicht wirklich, weil ich nach dem fünften Buch aufgehört hab. ^^°)

Ahh, die Pete lobt mich wieder so unverdient - das Bild ist echt ur alt und strotzt nur so vor Fehlern >///<;;
Aber wenn du nach dem 5. Band aufgehört hast, dann hast du ja noch "Dumbledore's Army" mitbekommen, oder? Also Harrys geheime Widerstandsbewegung gegen Umbridges Terrorregime an der Schule - im 7. Buch machen diese drei - Neville, Ginny und Luna - mit dem Widerstand weiter, auch wenn das nur kurz angedeutet wird...
Du musst das echt mal nachlesen, Pete, unbedingt!!

"DA" hab ich noch mitbekommen, aber die Fortsetzung dann eben nicht mehr.
Eigentlich fand ich nur den dritten Band richtig gut, deswegen hat mich das Weiterlesen nie gereizt. :drop:

Der dritte Band ist der besteste von allen!
Aber ich fand auch den 5. wirklich genial (eben wegen der Parallelen zum 2. Weltkrieg: Staatsterror, Repressionen, Rassismus, Widerstand... und natürlich der ganzen Charakterentwicklung, v.a. von Neville) dass ich mich direkt wunder, dass du grad nach diesem Band aufgehört hast zu lesen...? o_o
(der 6. Band is aber eh nicht so gut, dafür fand ich den Film ziemlich gelungen, zur Abwechslung, sprich: guck den Film!

I can't wait to see Neville be awesome either! I didn't like how the first movie portrayed Ron and Hermione's romance, it was practically nonexistent in the movie.

I'll be fine if Neville gets to be awesome but I really have no expectations for anything else. I'm not going to read the book before the movie so I can really enjoy the movie without thinking about how off it is.
Why does everyone, including the movie producers, seem to hate Ron? I love Ron! And Hermione. Together.

Me neither, I just don't get what people have against Ron, he's such a sweet, wonderful, normal guy (maybe that's their problem, he's just too normal?)
Oh well. If we're lucky, we'll live to see a remake of HP where they do the characters justice (maybe as a TV series, done by the BBC...?)
And good thinking with "won't read the book again so won't notice how off it is" - I think I shall do that, too *sigh* =_=;

Ich hab nach dem 4ten Film aufgehört zu gucken ._.
keine ahnung ich ahb von allein seiten Spoiler gesagt bekommen und da wa rmir einfahc die lust an Harry Potter vergangen

Das mit den Spoilern versteh ich, dass die einem den Spaß verderben, aber oft versteht man Spoiler ohne den Zusammenhang zu kennen ja eh nicht wirklich...?
Jedenfalls leg ich dir unbedingt die BÜCHER ans Herz - die Filme sind zwar ok als Draufgabe, aber kommen ans gedruckte Original einfach niemals heran ^^
