It actually his cover up to hide the fact that his a killer eUe but I'm giving him more things to his personality, 
i don't know if you read this  ak-47x.deviantart.com/art/Let-… a comic about Ray and rag passed life and it says that there mother was a singer..and I thought...just maybe ...maybe  if rag could sing w @ like his mother show him and it passed down from her hehe 
that way everyone has side thing, like alex has drawing and Ray can play, now rag could sing 

but he actually doesn't think his that good at it >w> it's actually lady who finds out that he could sing when he was walking , he was singing a song and she just pick up like " your voice I must hear it "
