Description
Ah Kamen Rider. If Ultraman is Japan's superman, then Kamen Rider is like their Spiderman and Batman all rolled into one.
Kamen Rider compliments Ultraman in so many ways and too this day I cannot decide which I prefer.
While Ultraman exhibits giant monsters, the overall character in Ultraman is, much like superman, too perfect a being. Kamen Rider on the other hand is a bit tortured, much like Batman or Spiderman, but he doesn't let it get in the way of what needs to be done.
That being said, the fact that there is no giant monsters regularly appearing in Kamen Rider is both a blessing and a bummer.
Now this is my Kamen Rider design. I barely changed anything about the original design, no outlandish crazy armor or funky bright colors like the newer shows and by god I gave him his damn scarf. KAMEN RIDER SHOULD NEVER BE WITHOUT HIS SCARF!
So yeah. For those of you who don't know what Kamen Rider is, check it out, its interesting. My faves are the original, Kamen Rider Amazon, Kamen Rider Black, and Shin Kamen Rider.
And by all means, avoid the American version of it.

Great drawing! I love both Ultraman and Kamen Rider! Did you know they actuelly did once team up?
Also, there was one Kamen Rider who faced a giant monster, Kamen Rider J has the ability to grow to 40 meters and has done so three times to face his main enemy, the Mist Mother, a huge alien robot thing seeking to have her offspring devour humanity, a giant Shadowmoon in a special program, and finally, helpping Decade and all the Riders defeat King Dark in All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker (well he ends up merging with Decade to form Decade Complete Form Jumbo Formation). He's pretty cool!

Hm, Im not so familier with the riders but I have seen them before. This is well done. I like the general feel to it and the coloring is great.

Thanks. I appreciate the compliment.
I am not the forlorn Kamen Rider expert, but I do enjoy the older shows, the new ones are fun, but almost in a different way.

Understandable, these things can often work like that and I can understand where youβre coming from. However, expert or not, it was a fun time of rediscovery as I read your description and remembered a bit myself from movies. You certainly know more then me and you definitely know quite enough to be very informative.
All that is nice and fine but really, it was the art that drew my attention to the page in the first place and it was well done.

Very nice. Have you seen the US version of Dragon Knight yet?

No. I usually avoid the US versions of Toku productions. How is it?

Eh, I hadn't watch a episode straight through. From what I heard, it's better than Masked Rider.
