November, 21, 2016. And November, 21, 2017.
A year later I decide to redraw a picture that, despite all horrible anatomy mistakes, I've always been proud of -even today.
I had the typical thought of "pfff I won't make it better", because I NEVER do whenever I redraw... but then... look at this O.o
The funny thing is that just recently have I been wondering if I've actually improved in the last year,
because in my eyes, I draw the same all the time...
I don't know if I should call this improvement, I'm being honest here. I see a "change": maybe of style, maybe I'm braver and draw more of their bodies...
but I really don't know if it is improvement. One thing is sure: there is no improvement in coloring
But that's not a surprise, I hate coloring XDDWhatever this is, I am happy :·) I want to keep drawing more and more, every time I go reflexive mode on Arts, I realize all the years I've wasted in the past... by now I could be way better!!! But if you love something, it's never too late
:'·) Of course, the fact that it's An and Anta who are proof of this is super meaningful to me, they're my beloved babus <3 XD

Aww, they're great!!! I feel exactly the same way, we practice at art for SO many hours, then are left wondering if we even improve... sometimes I pull up one of my super old pictures and think "Oh my glord, that's better than I can draw now... ;____; " and then I get depressed for 500,000 years. >.< But I agree, we love art, so we do it anyway and we get something out of it even if the improvements are hard to see...
But they look so cool! So stylish!! I agree that your style is very consistent, and having a unique style on its own is something to be proud of!! <33

YEs!! That happened to me a thousand times, that's why I'm always scared of redrawing.
Around half a year ago I tried to redraw a simple picture of Yûdai and Makoto
and it was HORRIBLE. I destroyed it. So I was fearful when I embarked on this one.
But I'm happy that the result is better and hopefully when I redraw it
next year, we're as puzzled as we are now xD

I think these pics should be all the references I need!! 8D The only thing is that I haven't really seen their designs from the waist down, but that shouldn't be a problem!! if I draw their legs I'll just give them stylish black jeans or something that matches their other clothing! Thooo... my pictures of Tobasu also don't show him from the waist down >.< hypocrite. So if you end up drawing's Tobasu's pants... he wears regular boring, dirty jeans or trousers. Something that would match his scummy tank top xDDD >.<;;

Sounds good! You can pick any pose you like 8D Robert and Tobasu are best friends, they would often just sit awake all night talking and watching the stars... so even if you just drew them sitting around chatting, it would be fine! Anything is okay 8D But I also havenn't come up with a good pose idea for An and Anta... hmm....
