I can't believe it's taken this long to show off this precious little baby! This is Ikki Mercury, which I would say is the newest member of the Mercury family, but... I'd be lying.
I've posted some art of Ikki and Kyou during early design work, but this is the design I've gone with for good. As a kid, poor Ikki couldn't quite control his summoning magic, causing seithr from his familiar to leak into his eyes. He can't see a thing! So he wears that mask, which absorbs some seithr and also keeps people from being too freaked out by his eyes. It was made for him by his big sister, Saya, who infused some of her own magic into it to protect him. He's a little cutie, and I just love writing him.
