I remember when I was a little girl, my mother use to tell me that my father would give his pet raccoon a sugar cube and the racoon would put it in water to wash it. After the sugar disolved, the racoon spent hours looking for the sugar cube, thinking he dropped it. That was a long time ago.(And yes I know raccoons don't have striped ears, so sue me!)
