Deathkeeper Info

Lorekeepers have a love to learn and keep that knowledge to themselves. Gathering it in books and making vast libraries dedicated to their favorite subject. However, some lorekeepers want to tell stories rather than create libraries dedicated to them. Deathkeepers are one of those lorekeepers. They look and live like regular lorekeepers, but wear veils or masks over their eyes and horns that resemble wax. The tips of their horns light up with a small flame when they remove time. They have given up their normal sight for a second sight and the ability to take the leftover time from a living being. When they are offered this remaining time they see a movie like scene in their minds, showing the life of the person or creature. They use this information to write down their story. They keep these stories and tell them to anyone who would like to listen. Keeping the persons memory alive. Sometimes families will pay deathkeepers to visit on death anniversaries and tell the stories of their family members.

Deathkeepers can also be vile beings. Any deathkeeper that steals time without permission begins to mutate and become evil. Stealing time without reason and not recording any of it. These keepers get obsessed with hoarding time and keep the magic in vials and bottles instead of using it to write a story of the life. Vile deathkeeper mutations include: fleshy mutations on the horns, multiple eye mutations, horns becoming brittle and breaking off, hair falling out of the tail or matted tails, as well as marks appearing on the skin and any magic cloth merging into the flesh permanently.

they have fluff on them sort of like a sheep to keep them warm as well as puff tails. on top of having standard lorekeeper magic, they can also make things cold while controlling how cold. they prefer their sweets to be cold like ice cream or blended coffees. They like to make scarves out of lore and their libraries look more like a clothing store than a library.
