I’m happy you took time to pick details and analize my drawing.
Winona is daughter of Waldo Livekos, Count of Freylae. Being this well-born she likes king's son to be her groom. Trying to impress him at her debundate ball, she insulted Lord Garven and all gathered people with her dress up. So her mother cut her hair quite short and father sent her to nunnery.
Winona was praying, working hard and… preparing for a mission! She was trained to get legendary Blade, if current king dies. She expected to go on her journey in twenty or even thirty years. She departed in two. However it turns out that while she was perfectly prepared to get the Blade, she has no idea how to deliver it to soon-to-be crowned king.
She fails and in desperate act taking Blade’s power for herself. So there is no item to present to new king and for a moment it seems that she could do nothing so Adverna’s nobility would accept her again.

The girl with dark, wavy hair is Winona’s younger sister Nathenia, little boy is a hier Niko and man in amaranth is their father Lord Waldo.

Still sometimes having one complicates things. If Nathenia doesn't love same man, Winoa - Lady Dragon could simply demand him to merry her, but she won't make it to her sister... or she will?

Winona won't get the happy ending that she wanted, but her fate is no much tragic after all. Noble born, rehabilitated due to Blade's owner Judge of Humans status, powerful and still young (at least in Vapamian point of view).

That is so tragic that she wasn't able to complete her task like she'd hoped, but it sounds to me that she may have gotten a better deal in the end

Being a dragon gives Winona many possibilities, but I'm not sure she would call any of them "better". Unless one is hear-stoned jerk, having even such power is not a solution to life dilemas.

I am curious what changed, how strong Winona is now after taking Blade's power for herself. So many possibilities. The Prince might have to marry her to maybe have access to the power that she yields or the power that she is herself.

Oh, the prince sees that it would be handy to have a wife able to transform in dragon, that would strenghten his throne. Winona knows she could blackmail him to merry her. However it is not this easy. When Winona was in nunery, the prince meet Nathenia and they felt in love with each other. So he loves another girl and the girl is Winona's sister. Whatever they'll decide, price is high.

Wow she does sound reckless and determined, just like you described her! It's a difficult situation she's in, I'm curious how she plans on solving it. That being said, she looked lovely with long hair, but her new hairstyle suits her strong personality better, especially since it suggest that she "accepted" her status as an outsider by leaving it. Oh and I'm curious about how she insulted Lord Garven at the debutante ball ^^

One bad idea after another. Being not able to present the prince legendary Blade, Winona gets the idea to give him Heretic's of Vapama head. Being a dragon she feels she could face and defeat a sorcerer.
I hope so, so much that I would be able to draw this month a next page revealing what Winona did at her debuntant ball
