Ok, this is my homemade Shinigami Ryuk mask for my cosplay that will fall in august 1. this summer. As you can see, the last thing to put on is, ofcourse, the hair. Now I gonna tell you how I made this one:

You'll need:

- A white paper mask (A very good one too)
- A Ping-pong ball
- Bits from plastic sprues,warhammer,or other plastic kit
- Colours, water, small paint brushes and a pencil
- A modelling Knife
- Hot "glue" (From a glue gun)
- Patience XP

1. First, I poked in the nose a bit, so that the nosetip almost disappears. When I poked in the underlip and started to paint it with the colours.
Make sure that you don't use too much water (Because I did it and the mask took a long time to be dried up enough )

Anyway, after that, you start to shape the plastic bits into "teeths" and paint them too. Take the knife and poke some holes (In my case, 8 through the upper lip and 6 through the under lip) and put in the teehts through the small holes. Make sure that the teehts don't sit to weak on the lips.

And now, the eyes. XD

2. Draw some help-lines on the pingpong ball in the shapes of two eyeglobes and cut it out with the knife. When, draw carefully the pupils in the size you wish for (In this case, not too big or too small ones). Make also sure that the pupils position, almost, must be in the middle (I tried my best XP) of the eyes. When paint the eyes and the pupils and wait until its dried enough (Just relax and read some Death Note, I did it X) )

After that, cut out small holes through the pupils so that you can see through Ryuks Shinigami eyes (Or walk blind without any holes, it's your choice) and glue the on the mask.

(3.) Just in case that you're worried about the teeths is going to fall of, then glue on the inside so that they're still there when you wearing the mask.

4. (Not done yet) glue on the hair and the mask is ready for some cosplay. Enjoy!^^
