After pouring so much of my effort into "Sora in PotC" contest entry (and then the file got corrupted and I lost it), I decided I needed to do something a little more easygoing. It's nothing special, but I like it enough to have it in my gallery instead of scraps. [Special thanks to Shamisen end everyone, who made me feel a lot better about the lost entry T_T]Fanart for the amazing work of Final Fantasy 8 fiction by altol, "Fire and Ice"
By far one of my most favorite pieces of fanfiction _ever_.

top left: After Seifer apologized to Quistis and stared at his ceiling
top right: quistis before she spits coffee all over her papers in surprise
middle: Flashback - Quistis is stuck in a tree and Seifer finds a way to 'get her down'
middle: flashback - lil quistis playing with fireflies
middle: flashback -Seifer distracting Quis by teaching her how to punch
middle: flashback - Quistis putting her lessons to good use
middle bottom: Quistis surprising the crap out of Seifer by taking a whiff from the cig (and then when she walks out of sight, she lets her composure fall apart and she nearly hacks up a lung)
bottom left: Quistis being less than pleased with Seifer's choice in bars/restaurant (especially due to the entertainment)
bottom right: Zell staring at the growling Cerberus (Quistis's adopted pet, which she bribed him into taking care of while she was gone) while he's trying to change XD

LOVE the expressions in each one of them. I think I have to pick Seifer as my fav of both because of the mischevious smiles and shocked expressions. By far the funnier of the two (and the one who gets punched XD).
The whole transition from red to blue on a white background really does make one imagine it's all a string of memories being played back in the minds of both characters. It's sweet, nostalgic and somewhat comforting.
