Guess I'm still not out of my "Peanuts phase" of the moment. Oh well.
This is somewhat of a hybrid form between my style and the original style ; guess I wanted to try THAT out too. I had fun, though I'm not that satisfied with the colouring.

Anyway. Yeah, so, face of your failure. The face that'll be there all the freaking time reminding you regularly (word of god says at least once a year) that your attempts are bound to fail.
She's always gonna be there to hold that football for you, and pull it away at the last moment. As much as you need that football for hope, she needs you to try to kick that football and fall flat on your back, so that she can later look down on you with the kind of face that clearly demonstrates that this disappointment right here is, in fact, the very meaning of life.
You're bound to fail. You're bound to miss that ball. And even then you'll keep trying forever and ever. It's just like clockwork.

(And for those who actually read that and didn't understand a thing, I'd recommend a bit of research on the "football gag" in the Peanuts comics. One of the most wonderfully depressing gags ever. Which makes it epic.)
