im so stupid, whenever i've been doing ink works in the past i've been doing lighter>dark and then when it dries im like !? WHY IS EVERYTHING SO LIGHT?! x__x Doing darkest first sounds SO MUCH MORE HELPFUL!

Normally everyone does lighter>dark, it's what they teach you in school. But if you have waterproof ink you van try it this way. c:
It mostly helps me focus on the parts that will have to very dark in the end. It also brings out the line art that would otherwise get lost under colored layers, like in hair.
