Description So I have this huge fascination with bugs, except for spiders they scare the hell outta me! But I've always love caterpillars there my favorite of the bug world. Well when i was ordering my crickets I came across these guys, there called horn worms or tobacco/tomatoes worms they get to be 3-4 inches long and it seems like all they do is eat and poop! I have seven of these guys ranging from tiny little buggers to monsters like this! They've been pretty fun to watch They turn into what's called a sphinx or hawk moth, I hope I can see that happen!

Aaahh! I've never seen a caterpillar like this one before; they're gorgeous! There's something very alien about that red spike and the little eyes painted along the sides. And the colour is amazing
Thanks for sharing!

Hmm I'll have to look that up and see what they were!

I did! I actually ordered them offline haha, they come with everything you need to raise them I even had a few turn into cocoons...sadly though my mom accidentally threw them away because the container I had them in she needed and she didn't realize what they were

This is where I got them if your ever interested [link]

Coool! Thus, my mom would faint from horror if she would see it (lol, phobia of caterpillars and worms ) but he really looks cute, especially, when you can see those "feets"

I've seen those too. I'd kinda like to try them with my leopard gecko.

The hawkmoths are really cool. I have seen them in Germany and also in eastern Washington. I actually have one that died after flying into the campfire we had.

Yeah there really high in calicium and they don't have a exoskeleton so there easy to digest

Aww lucky, I've only seen pictures of them, hopefully though I'll be able to see them grow through there life stages! Ouch, poor little guy "Oh what a pretty light....." *sizzle*
