i was bored of doing pencil work and decided to do some painting instead so that i could improve my ability to use colour. umrao jaan is the name of the woman in the picture and was taken from a bollywood film, the actress who plays her is aishwarya rai. i used watercolours cos i find them easier to use instead of acrylics! lol, the skin blnding didnt come out to well and the scanner made her skin uneven! but i hope you guys enjoy!!!!

Lovely. heh I disappear for a few months come back and find this, not surprising really. It doesn't look like most watercolor, beautiful use of the medium and don't worry about the skin it looks fine.

wow. That came out great! When I try and do watercolours, the paper goes all crinkley.
