Description The famous golem of Prague from The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay.

Part 2 of 6 for a final for this bizzare GE class that I must take. I have to write a literary analysis and submit a creative response that illustrates my paper.

looks exactly like how he appeared in gargoyles! It's a shame the classic clay golem isn't as common as you'd expect in depictions, everyone gets all creative.. which is fine, but give the classic designs some love!

Unlived? I'm not sure what you mean... The legend goes that the rabbi who brought the golem to life used a spell and worte "emet" on the golem's forehead. Emet is Hebrew for "truth" and when the golem went out of control he deactivated it by erasing the first letter making the word "met" which means "dead". Supposedly only those who work closely to God are granted the sacred power to create life out of nothing and bestow it on an inanimate obejct. Does that help?
