So I figured I could upload some of the work I did during my last off-time

This is - as you might be able to see & read - a Death Note Fanart^^
Mello and Near playing chess No, there are not enough figures , nor do I know if the situation rly is critical for Mello - for I know about as much about the game as he does

You might notice the book in the back with the knife stuck in it; there's a little... well, not story, more of a dialogue behind it. The title says "Chess for Dummies", btw

Near: Hey, wanna play chess?
Mello: Nah.
Near: Come on. I even got you a book so you can learn how it works - it's written in your mothertongue, too ^_^
Mello: I'M NOT DUMB! *stabs the book* Now let's play, I'm so gonna beat 'cha ê_ê

(Mothertongue because I've heard Mello's supposed to be from Germany or Switzerland and I love that idea )
