Trade for *solardiente . I was excited for this one, she's one of my favorites so I was happy to get a trade offer! Definitely check her art (and comic) out if you haven't.I need to practice backgrounds that are atmospheric in very simple color choices. Which is hard, because I blow at color choice. If I ever take a shot at doing a comic, that's what I'd like to aim for.

Haha that happens to me when I draw for other people too. I try to draw characters' features and stuff but it usually winds up looking like I copied the style more than anything.

i think your colour choices are gorgeous, repeating myself from tumblr but hfjdkfhsj i love this so much the atmosphere is perfect and the melting snow on the footpath and the bits of snow on the hand railing are such nice touches, this is generally just amazing <3

I love the coloring on this. It's so subdued and it fits the mood of the piece perfectly. Sure looks like a snowy day to me.

I love the lighting and the composition here so much, I love how natural this scene looks and feels? I really love scenes like this more so than like, staged scenes with the character doing something particular. I LOVE THIS IT'S LIKE TWO DUDES STROLLING LIKE FRIENDS AHH it's just super natural and endearing. You are a goddamn pro at setting out a colour palette that pulls everything together. You have such a good eye for colour. YOU HAVE SUCH A GOOD EYE FOR EVERYTHING. YOU ARE SO GOOD THE END GOODBYE I'M FAVING THIS SO HARD, GOD DAMN.

Ahhh TOO NICE TO ME. I try to improve but I'm never really sure if it pays off. I'm terrified of being one of those people that never improves and stagnates and I hope someone delivers and e-bitch slap if I ever do.
And thank you so much!! I like scenes like that the best too. But I am not good at color holy crap, I seriously flood fill spammed this off and on for like 3 days before I managed to get these colors. COULD NOT FIGURE IT OUT. Hate color choice so much, I wish it were easier to figure out.
