Story:
The bastard daughter of a self-proclaim Shogun and a wolf princess, she is a Inugami/Okami hybrid. She is quite elvish in looks and manner and fellows the samurai code and is never seen without her katanas. Her swordsmanship is fantastic and only second to Erza. Her magic is the Four Winds which can call on the four sacred beasts of the four directions called the Shishin. She is an expert in martial arts and loves to sing. She seems to like being alone and has built up an armour. Only Gray seems to be able to get though.

History:
Akita's mother was a great magic user and samurai but she was raped by Yama-Inu Akita's father. One day while out with her daughter (Akita was only a month old) in the woods Akita's mother heard hoofbeats. Suddenly a red tip arrow shot past straight towards Akita. She died shielding Akita. The person who shot her was none other then Yama-inu, Akita's father. For he had heard a prophecy about Akita: "A child will be born, nether dog nor wolf yet she will be all dragon. She will live among humans and live by their ways in a strange land....But one day she will return with forest green hair and wearing green and gold armour on top of a fiery dragon-horse. She will lead an army and put the rightful emperor back on the throne......" He was scared by this and needed to kill her for the Inugamis will not go back and serve under the Okamis!(The Okamis were the original emperors until the Inugamis rebelled and drove them off by killing the emperor.) Akita was then taken in by her uncle lord Thandaill. She live with him for 5 years until her father requested for her to come and live with him. Thandaill knew better then to upset the Shogun, so sadly he let Akita go. At first Akita was excited! She was going to live with her father in a big castle and meet her little half-brother! She never got to the castle for her father ordered his most senior retainer Tosa to kill her on the road to Inuyama. Tosa couldn't kill her so he secretly took her to his home. He raised her and loved her like she was his own child for Tosa didn't have a family. And in turn Akita loved him. One day while Tosa was teaching young samurai the way of the sword, he saw out of the corner of his eye, Akita pick up a stick and copied the moves perfectly. Then on he taught Akita the way of the samurai. Akita took to it well and loved it. Soon thou one of the Shogun's spies saw this and reported. Tosa knew the time has come and called on his comrade and friend Tora. He told Tora what was going on and ask if he could look after Akita for him. Tora at first was modified and said no, but he looked in his friend's eyes and agreed. That night Tosa was murdered on the order of the Shogun, by then thou, Akita and Tora were far away.

They traveled west and Tora taught Akita everything he knew and Akita mastered all of it. She even suppressed him and became a master in her own rights. Tora was proud of her and for awhile they lived peacefully, but that was to end. One day Tora was surprised to see Akita working magic, he was going to ask her how she knew when a ninja star shoot pass them. The Shogun's spies were here. Akita and Tora took to the horses and galloped off towards Tenyoto, home of the Tengu monastery. They lost the spies and arrived late at night at the monastery, but the Tengu's welcomed them. Tora told the Tengu lord what has happened, but the Tengu kept on looking at Akita. He asked Tora does she know magic? Tora said yes. The Tengu lord then taught Akita the spells of the Four Winds and martial arts, for the Tengus are experts in martial arts. The Tengu lord also told her about far away lands where they practised magic. For 2 months they lived in safety, but in the end the past always comes back. It was the spring equinox and the spies found them and attacked the monastery. The Tengus leaped into battle and attacked the spies. The Tengu lord told Akita and Tora of a pass the goes though the mountain called “The Spine Of The Turtle”. The pass is only open on the morning of the spring equinox thanks to ancient magic, so they had to hurry. They made it, Tora told Akita that he'd couldn't come. She had to do this alone. She did not what to leave Tora, for she now knew her father’s true nature and he will kill him! But Tora told her he is to clever for the Shogun to catch him. He then gave Akita her first katana, which Tosa had specially made for her. It’s name was “Wolves Tempest”. Akita was awed and had tears in her eyes, but then remembered to be strong. She bow to Tora and the Tengu lord and braved the pass.

The light showed her the way and strangely time seemed to slow. She caught glimmers of the past and saw when the past was open to all. Soon she emerged from the pass. The entrance on this side of the mountain was guarded by two huge Foo Dog statues. She left the mountains and emerged in the west. Akita had to change her appearance into a more human-like look. She changed but could not get rid of her pointy ears and wolfy tail, but to people who saw her past though towns and villages she looked like a mystical Elf. She liked it, and so started her journey to find a new home.

A couple of days into her journey and Akita was hungry and couldn’t find any food. She soon hears music and singing and comes across Gypsies. They welcomed her and took her in. They even taught her how to sing. She was a good singer and played a part in their performers. She got fed and clothed and was feeling happy, but the Gypsies didn’t know magic and Akita felt she was westing her time. She stayed with them when she head them say they are traveling from the Pergrande kingdom to Fiore. She remembered what the Tengu lord had said about Fiore, that it was a land of wizards. So on they traveled she had many adventures and met many different cultures until finely they were in the kingdom of Fiore. They had arrived in a snow storm for it was winter. Some of the Gypsie’s horses got loose. Akita said she’ll find them for she had a good nose. Into the storm she went and got lost. She could not smell the horses but she could smell a camp fire. She fellowed her nose and arrived at the camp fire. By the fire was a human boy, he had jet black hair and was oddly, naked. She asked if she could sit by the fire? He said yes. She took of her hood and sit closer to the fire. At that moment the boy got to his feet, for he saw that the girl had pointy ears and a tail. He shouted “Your one of them!”
Akita looking confused asked what? The boy replied and said demon. He thought that she was demon like Deliora. He made an Ice Shield and took off into the bleakness of the soon. He didn’t relies until to late that he was in the path of an avalanche. Akita in Hybrid form found him and took him back to camp. He was shivering so Akita transformed in true form and cuddled up to him to keep him warm. The boy woke up to find a canine face with tusks next to his own. At first he was scared but found that the her bushy tail and body kept him warm, she had saved his life. Akita was awake by then and asked him his name. He said his name was Gray Fullbuster. He asked hers. She replied Akita. Gary asked her what her last name was. Akita said she didn’t have, so he made up a last name for her, they were in a oak tree clearing and Akita had big fangs so he called her Okafang. Akita was so happy she licked him. She had found a wizard and a friend.

They had many adventures and bonded even more. Soon they arrived at the wizard guild Fairy Tail. They had found a home. The years go by and both Gray and Akita are 15 years old. They have gone and done jobs together and bonded even more. Soon thou Akita gets a letter from Misuto, her homeland. She has to go to war. Akita builds a Torii gate complete with Foo Dog statues so by magic she can teleport from Fiore to Misuto in minutes. There are portals all over Misuto, they act as a gateway to a shrine and also a teleport. When you go though one you enter a huge long market place. The path branches off to different Torii shrines. Gray was not happy he did not want her to go. Akita said she has no choice, it was her homeland. She left for 2 years. When she arrived in Inuyama she was called to her father. Her father told Akita to take her brother’s place in the war, for he did not want his only son and heir to die. So Akita did as she was told and dressed up like Soko. Only her most trusted retainers knew who she really was. Among them was Tora! His right eye was gone as a punishment from the Shogun. Him and Akita were happy to see each other. He led Akita to the paddocks and showed her the horse she was to ride, well not really a horse but a Dragon-horse! He was a 2 year old stallion and he bonded well to Akita. She call he Long-ma. Akita was a good leader she fought against the Kitsunes and always put her men first. They loved her.

One night as Akita was getting ready to bathe, a Kitsune prince named Shintaro tied to kill her thinking she was Soko. He gave Akita the star shaped burn on her back from his spell “Fire Star”. He was surprised to find a girl. Looking eye to eye with him. He disappears as soon as her retainers come. The war ends and Akita is order to die along with her men because they know the secret. She escapes with them to Okamikawa. Her men stay there with the Okami, who will keep them safe. But before Akita leaves she goes to her mother’s grave under a cherry tree. She kneels and leaves a offering. Out of the blue a cherry red dragon appears. The dragon thinks she is Akita’s mother and turns into a katana just like he did with her mother. She picks up the sword and the dragon head on the handle purrs. Her uncle comes and says that is “Sakura Ryu” the spirit of the cherry tree. And her mother use to use him in battle. They were the best of friends and was sad when her mother didn’t come back. Akita is awed and proud. So with new steed and sword she goes back to Fairy Tail.

when Akita gets back home, she shuts the portal and heads to the guild. Gray was relived she was home but just as Natsu used fire magic in the background Akita went into a rampage thinking the fire was fox-fire from the Kitsunes. She decked Natsu and was on the verge of killing him when Gray from behind hits her with ice. She wakes up at home finding Gray next to her. She cries in his arms. Gray looks after her for months and their bond grew into a flame. Gray and Akita are in love.

In the future the prophesy about Akita will come true.

Fun Facts!:
Akita’s real name was going to Sakura. But she never got her naming day, so she’s been stuck with her childhood name since. Akita also goes by the name “Midori Ryu Bushi” Green Dragon Samurai because of her green samurai armour, and the fact that she has a golden dragon on her helmet.

When Akita is not wearing her armour, it is on a stand at home. When she needs it, she can summon it. It magically returns when she doesn’t need it or she is in her true forme. Her other clothes do the same thing as does her weapons.

Akita loves Dragons and likes leaning about them.

Akita taught Gray martial arts. In return, Gray taught her a little bit of Ice-make magic.

Akita’s house is like a weapons museum. It is full of armours and weapons.

Kids adore Akita and like to play with her. When that happens, Akita loses her samurai upbringing and be comes one of them.

Akita has a band within the guild called “The Imperials”. It is made up of her and 3 other wizards who loved her as kids. (They were 6 years old when Akita was stuck on Tenrou Island for 7 years.) Their names are: Griffen Willows, Kitty Wu and Banjo Petes.

Akita can sing and play the guitar, the flute, the lute and can DJ.

Akita loves everyone in the guild but her best friend (besides Gray) is Cana Alberona. They play poker together even thou Akita loses every time.

Akita loves Celtic music. (The gypsies were Celtic, and taught Akita how to sing and play the guitar, the flute and the lute.

Akita loves Gray but knows she can’t be with him. She slowly lets Juvia and him get closer, even know it breaks her heart.
