Description
Please do not reuse without permission, and please link back to me if you share this somewhere.I love Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I also love Legend of Korra. I fell in love instantly with Tenzin and his little Airbenders. I always imagine they follow their daddy everywhere, both looking up to him admiringly and looking for ways to mess with him.
Yes, Tenzin seems a little short and Ikki's head is huge. I don't mind.
Hope you guys all enjoy this piece. Took about six hours from start to finish. I doodled a tiny sketch in my sketchbook that turned into this, so I feel pretty proud of that.

[Insert number] little ducks that I once knew
Fat ones, skinny ones, short ones too
But the one little duck with the feather on his back
He led the others with a QUACK QUACK QUACK!
QUACK, QUACK, QUACK!
QUACK, QUACK, QUACK!
He led the others with a QUACK QUACK QUACK!

I was wondering is Tenzin's blue arrow a really big birthmark or a trait when I first saw him. Aang (I just can't say his dad) of course had it. Oh so confusing...

It's a tattoo that all Air Nomads receive at, what I guess, is around age 12 or so. The more enlightened a monk is the sooner he gets his tattoo - he mentions somewhere in season two or three that they need to meditate for incredibly long periods of time while receiving the tattoos as well, so no, it is not a birthmark. Someday all of Tenzin's kids will get the arrow of the Airbender.

Actually, the tattoos are the mark of a master airbender. Aang was the youngest Air Nomad to master airbending, hence the ink at age 12.
