Happy Birthday Sleyf !!!
Hope you had a great day!! I've been itching to draw these two for ages so here they are, I hope I managed to do them justice! (Also, sorry for her flower tattoo being on the wrong arm - I realised too late! 
) These two are Gaia and Cain, two fascinating characters from Sleyf 's collaboration novel: The Future Revised. You can read it and see artwork from it here: sleyf.deviantart.com/gallery/6… I highly recommend it because her art is beautiful and her writing brilliant!!

Such a beautiful painting! I love how you did the flowers in the frame to match her tattoo and her leaf necklace. And I like the choice of grey as a background for the lively reds. The anatomy and poses are lovely too, and the characters very expressive!

Aww! This is such a delightfully painted image- what a wonderful gift! I love how serene and content Gaia looks compared to how vexed and impatient Verus looks- it's a great contrast! The roses and poppies that frame them are so beautifully drawn too- and I love the fact that they mirror the tattoos on Gaia's arm as well. Great work hon!

Oh my goodness eeek I'm so happy! This is far too beautiful (and sad). I love the dark greyish blue, it looks almost velvetty and is a beautiful backdrop for the reds of the poppies (which are exquisite by the way - you even drew each little seed bobble) - you spoil me far too much you know, with all the gift arts this year.
I honestly don't mind that Gaia's tattoo took a day trip to the other side (it needed a change of scenery hoho), she looks so pretty (I love her eyebrows and skin tone, and her hair has suitable volume for most to be quite envious, it looks really soft) and it does look like she's just said something worthy of the abomination that she is (because everyone knows the word 'abomination' means 'adorable creature' to those who find pain in saying those two words - she's a stinker and she knows it.
Cain/Verus has no response to this lol, 'buh-whuh-huh' seems suitable - she'd probably understand whatever it means - it's hard getting mouth parts to work when they haven't has the practice of socialisation - I love that you used a very pale blue-grey for the shading on him, not only does it compliment the background but it adds a really cold feel in contrast to Gaia's warm earthy tones. I just love the tiny details like the tip of the stylus glow. Oh this is beautiful, I love it so much, thank you!

I love it, and am really honoured that you like them (it's always great to hear that characters are likeable in some way and not forced upon people lol). Who knows, I mean perhaps if they had chosen to do one little thing differently, their history could have been completely different and they might still be together (or rather, in story anyway, as I like to think they are in MindSpace)
She is wonderful! I actually like how she has a bit of a more serene and soft look here (age probably did that! She's probably one of those people who seems to get better the older she gets while everyone else is shrivelling she's all stately and serene *sour face*)
(oh hoho I can't take credit for her hair, that was initially drawn by Ratprince and it stayed!)
I can sympathise with your pain over Cain's hair, it gives me a lot of trouble too and thus seems to look different every time, I just want to know what it looks like when messy (if that's even possible)

Yes indeed, like the place Seb and Humphrey were riding their motorbike - that's Mindspace - where anything can happen and characters hang out when beyond their storyline. It's where your original vampire boy with the skeleton hoodie and his Romani gypsy friend have been staying between the years when you first drew them and now.
Lol he rises like Dracula out of his coffin, perfectly groomed.
Yes indeed, his hair knows who wields the clippers, so it behaves...for now.
