Have you ever wondered what happens when unicorns eat too much fast food? Apparently, this.I've never been particularly bold when it comes to color and I 've been known to make some pretty... non-pretty choices so this was half an experiment and half a dare to myself to try something different. I've also never really sat down to CG actual buildings and yeah, it's not fun. Not yet. Amateur, I may be, but no one can say I didn't take more than my fair share of risks in this picture.
Remember when I said I would upload more? Well, get ready. This is the beginning.

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL. SO IS THE CONCEPT. WHY DOES THIS NOT HAVE 1BILLION PAGE VIEWS? ...I am disappoint.
I do have to say the way you shaded the buildings combined with the hard edges has a jarring effect on me. I think you should shade them with more hard edges next time & not just soft. And Miku's hair is doing something funky when there's no wind to blow her hair in space. I can at least understand with Rin that she's turning her head, but Miku, not so much.

Thank you for the thoughtful critique. I definitely feel that you're right about the buildings, and it still bothers me even when I look at it now. As for Miku's hair, I suppose I can play that off as artistic license? Haha, but I will take your words into consideration in the future.
