Description
Part two!For those of you who don't get it, Orson *Spoiler!* betrays Ephraim at the capture of Renvall. The first time it went around, I was all like "Oh man it's gotta be Forde, he's the only one who seems to be really unhappy with Ephraim."
Of course I was thinking that FE would be good to it's obvious good natured self.
My bad. I forgot about the quiet one. >_>
Anyway, second time around I took all the items Orson had on him (he had some nice crap) and kept them on my other chars, leaving him weaponless, and a meatshield.
Yay meatshield. XD

Collab between myself and who wrote the script because he can actually come up with some rather funny things.
I just did the comic.
I praise sprite comic makers now, it is much harder then it looks.

if you let him die, does it give an insta-game over since Oswin is important to the plot? or does he simply "retreat"?

i don't think it's possible for Orson to die there, he's quite overpowered (like Seth in the beginning). but i guess if he died, he would retreat. we still need him, so he can't actually die, but he's not main character enough for a game over xP

Actually, it is possible, but it takes a while, since the boss is virtually the only unit capable of dealing some damage on him, but has rather low accuracy (barely over 50%).

XD I even did this on my first playthrough because my bro was like "obtw Orson is a traiter. just use the level to train Kyle, Forde, and Ephriam." Hooray for brothers!

Wrong actually. It was typical Fire Emblem. See, the series has a habit of re-using the same characters over and over in each game. They change the names, appearance, and tweak the personality a bit, but the characters always tend to stay the same. (IE: You start with a loyal paladin to help your team, there's always a myrmidon in chapter 6ish, always a green and red cavalier paired up, your main lord will always start with a raiper, etc.) Forde and Kyle are the red and green guys.

HAHAHAHAH! I did that too on my most recent playthrough. I felt so evil, sending him into a horde of enemies unarmed....oh well. Too bad for Orson.

LOL. Aside from Orson, I defs do that to every single character that goes unused (ex. in Shadow Dragon, like over half the people... *facepalm*) I always wondered what the units would think when I stripped them of all their weapons and healing items, haha~

I suspected Orson from the minute I saw him (he's the odd one out in terms of age and style), and onece I saw he was a paladin, I was sure. No way they'd let you keep a nice unit like that when they're betrayal to be done.

Man, I always take his weapons just as I begin, and then use him as a human shield in that map. In fact, I always have him get defeated, too bad he doesn't die.
