"Did it hurt?""Did what hurt?"
"When you fell out of heaven."
I guess it did.

The head is positioned quite well in this photo. It's not so far away that we can't tell what it is or what it looks like, and it's also not so close that it takes up the whole shot - there is a nice amount of the surrounding area included, so that we get some variety in the image, and we can compare the head to the leaf and twigs and get some idea of the head's size.
I'm also glad that the head is positioned slightly off-centre. That means that the head is not so prominent in the image as it could have been if it was placed in the centre, and that's quite appropriate here - it helps give the head its appearance of lowliness and dejection, which I think it's supposed to have.
The colours in this photo, and the lighting, are quite gloomy, but then, I suppose that helps give the picture its mood of something that 'fell too hard'. In any case, there's still some variety in the gloominess - the light grey in the background, the dark grey of the head, and the illuminated brown in the foreground.
When I first saw this photo, I thought the stone head was a dark, coral-like stone - something like a meteorite or a volcanic rock. It looked nice. It was only when I read your description that I looked at it with a different perspective and realised that it was actually the head off a statue!
I have to admit that I became a bit less enthusiastic about this picture when I realised that, because I don't much like statues like this - they just look a bit too prissy and silly and snooty to me. However, your description made the photo more interesting for me. It's interesting to think of the head as being the head of an angel which literally fell down from heaven, and you gave that idea across in a good way - in the form of dialogue! A nice, intimate way of telling a story.
