On Planet Natal there are many kinds of races and animals, Slimes are a hard-to-pin race between monster and people, some slimes are just blobs of gunk attaching itself to any moisture it can expand itself on, and the side where they gain sentience and attempt to make attractive forms for survival reasons. Spit is a Slime born somewhere we can assume mouth of some poor bloke on Natal long ago.

Spit found herself on Natal's Soul Mountains and was attracted to the Water path to which deadly rituals are performed for power, but since she was slime incapable of drowning or being crushed by high water pressure, survived the ritual gaining mild ice powers.
Spit was "recruited" by the Crimson bandits for her frosty and slimy endeavor but is terrified and repulsed by the leader of the Bandits, A Red Fire breathing Monkey from the Fire Path who attempts dehydrating spit to mild gooey puddles for his amusement.

Due to the fickle nature of slimes in Natal, Spit only stays with the Crimson bandits to terrorize the rest of the world with unrelenting force from their water supplies.
