Update: I fixed the scales because I had forgotten that her scales aren't ctenoid, but they are placoid instead!

Seishiro was searching for the map in the shrine room of his house. He had ensured his father was away before making all that mess. Nagano was assisting him. The Buddhist home shrine was a large wooden cabinet, attached to the wall. Shoji sliding doors, made of fine cherry wood and rice paper, were symmetrically arranged all along the East wall, leading out to a zen garden. You could watch the sun, rising above the howling mountain early in the morning. They were not for safety; mostly for decoration. "THIS...is what you remember.", Rihanna drew Sei's attention.
He looked back at her. His eyes popped open widely when pictures of the past passed before them. The mermaid-like creature was gone and a beautiful tall woman was standing there instead. Her figure was slim and curvy; no different than the real form. She was around 5'7" feet tall once barefoot. She was in a maxi sunrise-blue dress made of an eye-catching chiffon silk fabric that was turning transparent thigh-down. Its sides were split and the front and back layers were attached to each other with thin silver chains along her torso and hips, ending in the middle of her thighs, holding the two layers in place. So, this is the depiction of my Original Character "The Siren-Rihanna" as mentioned in Chapter 4: "Ghosts of the Past"! As revealed, Rihanna is Seishiro's mother and also the second protagonist of the Otherworld Legacy Trilogy! You can also see the "Eye of the Solstice" (aka "Sacred Stone") on the bottom as mentioned in Chapter 1 and the "Eye of the Sea" on the top as mentioned in Chapter 4! Soooooooo, to sum up, I hope you liked the plot twist!!! You can comment anything you want in the comments since there's a Spoiler Alert warning, so, feel free!! KLet me know of your thoughts on the plot twist! Were you shocked or you expected it???

I've been working on this drawing since last summer!! So, I've totally no idea how long it took me to finish! I made it partly in Autodesk Sketchbook for android and partly on Photoshop (The effects molstly and some minor fixes on lighting and stuff!) ! "The Siren" is my favourite character and I desperately wanted to do this drawing as close to perfect as posible! Let me know of your thoughts!!

A few info about the "Otherworld Legacy Trilogy":

The "Otherworld Legacy Trilogy" is a realistic fantasy, action, mystery, drama novel. It consists of 3 books - of which the first 1 is called "Nightfall" - and they combine different genres to one nearly impossible result! All the three books explore the secret lives of Japanese mercenaries (aka Ninjas) in the modern world along with an entire genealogy of fantastic, intelligent creatures and the struggle to coexist with each other!

The plot of all the three books is being written at the same time, which means that you must pay attention even to the slightest detail in order to enjoy them to their fullest because EVERYTHING is connected and EVERYTHING is on purpose! Even the scratch of a nose! Every piece connects to the same puzzle! But you are called to put them together! Will you make it? It's up to you!

The first book, Nightfall, serves as a portal to the rest of the Trilogy! Its plot introduces the protagonists and the new species to the reader. It creates questions which only the other two books will slowly answer! Like I said,...it's a puzzle!

The second and third book titles will be released after each's completion! After the official publishing of Nightfall, the title of the second book will be announced. Same for the third! Their titles are spoilers! Like I said,...everything is on purpose!

Surprise! There WON'T be only 3 books! There's a LOT of backstage story which can't be fitted only in three books! After all, believe me, you don't want to read the backstage story only through flashbacks! You will more likely not understand a thing because flashbacks must be as short as possible! For obvious reasons! After the trilogy's completion, there will be 1 or more prequel books to answer all your questions!

"Nightfall" Synopsis:
The trilogy explores a fantasy world of supernatural beings and the collision of myth and reality. The first book is located in Japan and tells the story of Seishiro Shinoda, one of the main heroes. Seishiro is a 26-year-old mercenary (aka Ninja) in the modern Japan of 2015, who grew up a normal life but soon comes to deal with a completely new, supernatural reality and the deadly dangers it hides. By digging deep within the secrets of his own past, he meets a woman that changes his life forever and shows him that the world is more complicated than he thought and it has many mysteries and unrevealed stories, far beyond his very imagination. Myths and legends come to life and a struggle for survival begins. Follow the characters as they explore the past, the present and the future and let them teach you a powerful lesson. To keep fighting.

Notice:
The writing style of the trilogy has a few usages of Present Tense! Please, don't add an negative critique on this because, like I said, everything is on purpose! Just read to the end and you'll understand why I've used forms of Present Tense!
Also, I decided to use the American English style! English is not my native language, so, please, if you notice any United Kingdom term instead of a United States term, notify me via Deviantart, Facebook or Twitter so that I can fix it! The word "thus" which, if I'm not mistaken, is an archaic UK English term is an exception!
I'd also rather not use an editor because some phrases are written in a specific way for a reason and any change may alter the meaning! For that, I'm doing the editing by myself along with my brother's help! However, if you notice any mistake, please, contact me!
