Yeah, this is in Buffalo. I think it's still there, I haven't been across the border in ages. Last I heard someone had bought it and intended to fix it up -- into what I have no idea. Economy is in the hole and the neighbourhood its in is even worse, so good luck investors!

This is really amazing, good composition and the structure of the theater is really pretty. You could tell that it was once a really nice one in it's hay day.

It's a lovely little oasis amongst the ghetto that is Buffalo, NY.

very well composed!
again, i love these abandoned places too. so much beauty there. .. the curtain in the center of the picture which leaves in some light really catches the eye..
since you got a dslr, you should consider taking some HDR shots in there!!..

I like this much, but i think it could stand to be a bit darker. the shadows aren't that strong. I also have a similar shot of an abandoned theater in my gallery, i think that you'd like it.

You're right that was a good shot, the stitching was off in a few places but all around a great shot (stitching panos can be a bitch).
As for the darkness I believe I already knocked up the shadows a bit and I don't like over processing my raw files...

raw files were specifically designed to be flexible. when you're in camera raw in photoshop, try boosting the shadow depth the the advanced bit of it.
