I spent too long on this one.It started as a thought I had about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Argus Filch has a cat named Mrs. Norris prowling the school with him...Minerva McGonagall can change into a cat at will...and Hermione gets herself a pet cat when she enters her third year.
This means that Ron's rat, Scabbers, must have had the hardest school year of his life, since at any moment there could be a maximum of three cats out for his blood. It's a wonder he survived that long. (I'll withhold any Pettirgrew spoilers for whoever hasn't read the book/seen the movie (if there are any such people out there, that is)).

I think there would have been a lot more than three cats at Hogwarts, it was one of the named pets kids could take. And I think quite a few girls would want to have a cat rather than an owl.
But it's still a really good picture.

I thought McGonagall as a cat has square shaped markings around her eyes... Like her glasses?
